Natalie's EP featured in bostonconcertreviews.com

Natalie's debut EP has been praised in a recent concert review of 'Visionary music of South America' at New England Conservatory by Boston Concert Review's renowned critic Nelson Brill:
"For another delicious taste of the entwining magic of Carlos Jobim’s music, grab a copy of vocalist Natalie Dietz’s sprite and artful EP from 2013 (www.nataliedietz.com) in which Dietz does a wondrous slow-brewing arrangement of Jobim’s “Corcovado,” accompanied by pianist Aaron Parks, guitarist Mike Moreno, bassist Josh Crumbly and drummer Justin Brown. Dietz also studied at NEC and brings a lithe, flexible and open vocal presence to her radiant songs and arrangements. The EP also includes originals filled with Dietz’s graceful and expressive vocals which rove and shimmer alongside her band’s creative and delicate partnership"

Daily Review reviews Natalie's debut EP

"Sydney artist Natalie Dietz is 26 years old, but her vocal and compositional talents qualify her as an old soul...Dietz’ stock in trade is intimacy. Her warm timbre is reminiscent of the sweet smokiness of a clarinet , or that elusive sunset itself. ”It can seem so far away, like a childhood melody I used to sing”, to use her words"

Natalie's debut EP is reviewed on All About Jazz:

"..a taste of what a longer format could offer. Dietz is smart to use this shorter form as it presents a concentrated version of her overall approach and vision. In the clotted deluge of jazz vocals, Dietz's offering floats to the top by virtue of its light touch and grace"
